Ashaig Camping and
Caravan Site

Ashaig campsite on the Isle of Skye, is conveniently placed between Kyle of Lochalsh, and Broadford about 4 miles from the Skye bridge and so provides the ideal base when starting or finishing a tour of the island.

Ashaig is a quiet campsite, suitable for people who enjoy the outdoors and want to get a good nights sleep.

Apart from a lovely, safe, sandy beach five minutes walk away, there are beautiful views of the Cuillin, the mainland and various islands to the North. Applecross can be seen directly across the water. The site is on a working croft, although stock are not present on the croft during the summer season.

For campers with tents, there is a large area of land to choose from, either with shelter or on open ground. The site is large enough that it is always possible to find a spot away from others if that is what you prefer.

The campsite operates under the Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site scheme. This means Ashaig are only able to accomodate club members.

The annual fee is £37, for up to 2 adults and 4 children aged 17 and under, you may join onsite under our licence.

To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking as far as advance as possible, as pitches are in high demand in the summer months”.

It is always hard to turn  people away, especially if they have had a long journey, or young children with them. Year after year we get a lot of people turning up not realising how crowded  Skye gets, and expecting to find a pitch without much problem.
